Junior Roller Derby Writing Contest Voting

After putting out a call for original writing by junior derby skaters, we have received some incredible pieces on a whole range of subjects. I hope you’ve had a chance to read some of them over the past weeks, but if you’ve missed them, we’ve compiled them all here. Now that the entries have all run, it’s time to vote for your favorites!

The winner of the contest will receive a copy of The Roller Derby Athlete by Ellen Parnavelas and the awesome Fydelity speakers bag donated by Scratch Tracks. The second place winner will receive the Dream Derby shirt pictured below, generously donated by Roller Addict, and the third place winner will receive a fantastic mustache bandanna, donated by Deviant Derby (also below).

Woo, prizes!

To vote, Like, Tweet, or +1 the pieces you support on your social media of choice using the buttons on the lefthand side of the screen or the bottom. Whichever pieces receive the greatest total support will be declared the winners and receive their fabulous prizes.

Voting closes Thursday, September 12th.
